Faye continues to breed fine eyed and edges tetraploids. COMMISSIONER J.W. is a round lavender and wine blend with a 1" velvety grape purple eye and grape purple picotee edge extending half-way up petals. Outer half of petals are edged in bubbly gold. Small throat is lemon and green. Ruffled, gathered, bubbly, fringed. Lavender-pink midribs. Very smooth, very velvety texture. Heavy substance. Very diamond dusted. Excellent color contrast. Overlapped, semi-flat. Four-way branching, 20-23 buds.
