A must for double fanciers. This is a lovely shade of deep lavender and flesh pink with pink veining, light yellow midlines, and deeper rose lavender shading near segment tips. Flowers are translucent and very diamond dusted. A large chartreuse and lemon throat accents the flower, giving the impression of lavender and cream. A hairline of light lemon cream rings petals and sepals complimented by a thin line of dark purple on petals. Form is layered, peony style with extra segments that stand up in throat. Flower is rounded, flat and tips cup up slightly. Edges are serrated with tiny gathered ruffles. Creped, satiny finish. Three-way branching, 13-17 buds; repeats three times here. Blooms are up facing just above foliage. Some pollen.
