LEAPING LIZARDS
(Elizabeth O. Shooter, 2002)
40 M Re Fr. Dor. #95-7077. 8-2 1/8 - 1 1/4 (petal length
- 5"). Diploid.
Don't be frightened by this large light maroon red spider.
It's only a flower. Not truly a spider, but with spidery open form, this
cultivar always draws attenton. Sepals curl and two stand out like horns.
Petals are widely crimped and ruffled. A 4" center of light yellow
and butter yellow splash out onto the segments. Very velvety texture;
excellent substance. Heavily diamond dusted. Four-way branching, 21-25
buds. Strong scapes.
