There are picotees and then there are picotees. This is an eyed and edged daylily that will win your heart. The cream barely tinted peach blooms literally sing out with their 1" blue purple eyes and 1/8" blue purple picotee. What a contrast - the very pale and the very dark. Throat is light yellow with a light green heart. A bright yellow fringe/bubble completes this picture of loveliness. Form is full, flat and triangular with petals pinching slightly, tucking and twirling and sepals recurving. Ruffled, crimped, fringed, bubbled. Very diamond dusted. Very velvety texture, excellent substance. Creped, satiny finish. Edges of petals turn up to accent picotee. Three-way branching, 15-18 buds.
