(Faye O. Shooter, 2002)
33 M Re Dor. #94-FTFM [Seedling X TET FIRE MIST]. 6 -
3 1/4 - 2. Tetraploid.
This ruffled red tetraploid will capture your heart with
its large cardinal red blooms accented by a faint light red watermark
atop a small chartreuse throat. Deep red veins and a blue sheen complete
the showy flower. Form is wide, full, overlapping and triangular. Sepals
arch and recurve, petal tips recurve. Ruffled, crimped, waved, gathered,
with a slight fringe on tips. Sepals are lightly ruffled. Very velvety.
Good sun resistance. Excellent substance. Very diamond dusted. Four-way
branching carries 20-22 buds. A fine deep but bright red that beckons
across the garden.
