SOUTHERN PATRIOT. 29" EM Reb Ext, Dor #99-T0092 (El Desperado x Seedling). 6" - 2 ½" - 1 ½". Tetraploid. In the days of old was a patriot good as gold. This daylily has a neon chartreuse green throat with shooting alabaster rays breaking through a triangular eye of burnt red purple velvet onto the flowers of corn silk yellow. Petals are outlined in dark purple. Gathered ruffles, slight fringing. Full, triangular form with sepals recurving. Extended and blooms three times at Marietta. Four-way branching, 21 buds.
