Cinderella's stop mother was ugly but this one is beautiful. A light mauve with serrated edges of cream. Prominent blue-lavender midribs separate the velvety petals. A large bright green throat progresses to a chartreuse yellow that carries upward to the lighter blue-lavender watermark. Diamond dusting. Very triangular form with recurved sepals. Petals pinch and tuck. Four-way branching, 22 buds. The Prince would never have found his Princess if Cinderella's step mother had been as beautiful as this one is.
