As lyrically as an Elvis song, this royal purple shaded reddish-grape on the edges asks to be your tonight. Its beauty is heightened by a tiny cream edge on the segments changing to red purple fringe at the tips and lightly fringed ruffling. The deep chartreuse green throat extends to lemon-yellow with a soft lavender cream watermark engulfing the center of the flower. Red-grape veins. Velvety texture, heavy substance, sunfast, opens early. Form is recurved and triangular. Three-way branching, 15 buds. $75.00
